University Hospital Galway is holding the 30th Annual Children’s Remembrance Mass this weekend.

The Children's Remembrance Day Committee is inviting those who have experienced the loss of a baby or child to the mass.

This year's theme is 'Purity, Wisdom, Longevity', and there will be speakers, music and prayer, with a Book of Remembrance also to be presented at the altar.

Refreshments will follow the mass, which is taking place this Sunday June 7th at 2:30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore.
