UHG third most overcrowded with almost 50 waiting

Galway Bay fm newsroom - University Hospital Galway is the third most overcrowded hospital nationwide today.

49 patients are waiting on trolleys or along wards at the facility.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with 73, followed by Cork University Hospital where 59 are waiting.

Figures compiled by the INMO show 654 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning nationwide.
