Galway Bay fm newsroom - Homes and businesses in the town of Headford may experience water disruption today due to a major leak.
Galway County Council and Irish Water has sent a crew to the site of the leak at the Shrule Road.
It's hoped the leak will be fixed by this afternoon (3pm) and a full water supply will be restored.
In the meantime, temporary traffic lights are in place until the repair work is complete.
