Work to get underway on extending McGrath's Field playground in Knocknacarra

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Work is to get underway shortly on extending McGrath's Field playground in Knocknacarra.

Councillor Donal Lyons says the works include the extension of the playground, installation of a zip-line and the replacement of existing fencing with new coloured fencing.

Councillor Lyons says it's one of the oldest playgrounds in the city and is a huge part of the local community.
