Works approved for Knocknacarra Educate Together School

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Works have been approved for the Educate Together School in Knocknacarra.

The school - which has a population of 130 pupils - is located at the building previously occupied by Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh.

The Department of Education and Skills has approved funding for new doors and windows for the school.

Gaeltacht Minister Sean Kyne says the building is two decades old and in need of improvement works.
