Yellow rainfall warning issued for Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Galway.

The alert will be in place from 6 this evening with up to 50 millimetres of rain possible.

It is also in place for Mayo, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.

Met Eireann is warning of flooding in places, reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

The alert will run until 6pm tomorrow.
