A motorcyclist has been taken to University Hospital Galway after sustaining serious injuries in a collision with a car this morning at Parkmore outside the city.
Gardaí responded to reports of the two-vehicle road traffic collision at approximately 5.45am.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
