Former Loughrea senior hurler Gavin Keary (pictured left before the 2013 county final) has joined the Clare Senior Hurling management team for 2018, having previously helped Galway to two All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship titles in 2015 and 2017. Keary was part of Jeff Lynskey's backroom team with the Galway Minors for the last 3 years, while at club level he has been involved with Kilbeacanty in recent seasons. Clare joint managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor have added Keary to their backroom team in the aftermath of Donal Og Cusack's departure. Clare are currently preparing for the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic on 19th November when they will line out against Tipperary in Fenway Park, Boston.
