103 Galway residents to receive Irish Citizenship this week

Galway Bay fm newsroom - 103 Galway residents will become Irish citizens today.

Nationwide, 3,500 people from 130 countries will receive their certificates of naturalisation in Killarney over the next two days.

Junior Minister at the Department of Justice James Browne says it will give them rights and legal protections.

He says people from other nations who'll become Irish citizens will contribute to Ireland:
