AIB has included six Galway branches in its refurbishment investment, totalling €40m.
The Clifden and Spiddal branches will receive a full refurbishment, as part of plans to reduce carbon emissions by ten percent.
While its branches in Athenry, Ballinasloe, Lynch's Castle and Salthill will receive interior and exterior improvements.
Works will also include Autism-friendly standards and the upgrading of ATMs, with all refurbishments to be completed by the end of 2025.
