City councillor satisfied with assurances of recreation Master Plan for Headford Road

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A city councillor is satisfied with assurances he's receieved of the development of a Master Plan for Recreation and Amenity for the Headford Road.

Councillor Alan Cheevers submitted a motion at a development plan meeting in response to what he describes as a serious lack of of facilities in the area.

In response, the council confirmed a plan for the Headford Road will be part of the Green Space Strategy.

Councillor Cheevers, who then withdrew his motion, hopes it'll add positively to the local community:
