Councillor calls for greater promotion of monthly city parking tickets

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway City Council needs to make more effort in promoting the availability of monthly pay-and-display parking tickets.

That's according to Councillor Neil McNelis, who says the uptake to date is extremely disappointing.

He feels there must be a proper marketing campaign to raise public awareness.

Councillor McNelis says this is a valuable initiative that will save workers money.
