Family Carers Ireland is hosting its Heart of Gold campaign in Galway City next week.

The national fundraising day asks local businesses to host a coffee morning or other fundraiser during the month of June.

Family Carers Ireland supports half a million family carers across Ireland who care for loved ones.

The national launch will take place at the Menlo Hotel at 11am on Friday, May 12th.
