Galway Bay fm newsroom - The first robotics-guided heart surgery in either Ireland or the UK has taken place in University Hospital Galway

The technology allows surgeons to use the robot as an extension of their own hand during procedures.

The angio-plasty procedure will improve percision and also means staff will spend less time exposed to radiation.
