Funding secured for safety measures at dangerous Caherlistrane corner

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Funding has been secured for safety measures to be implemented at a dangerous corner in Caherlistrane.

Councillor Andrew Reddington says €30 thousand will go towards signage, road markings and anti-skid measures at Creavan's corner.

Galway County Council officials visited the site recently, and works are to be carried out this year.

Councillor Reddington says the works are sorely needed at this accident-prone location.
