Galway Domestic Violence support group to benefit from €5.2m national fund

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Domestic Violence Response Galway is one of 65 groups nationwide to benefit from a 5.2 million euro fund.

The Justice Minister announced the fund, which is being allocated to a network of organisations that support victims of crime.

The group, based in Moycullen in the city, will receive almost €25,000 from the pot.

Minster Simon Harris says the organisations receiving the boost all met a strict criteria.
