Two Galway pharmaceutical entrepreneurs have gotten their CBD range green-lit as a food supplement by the European Commission .
Chanelle McCoy and Caroline Coen have become the first in the world to get safety approval for their synthetic CBD food supplement range, Pureis.
The range has also secured approval from the Saudi Arabian government, with both approvals seen as a huge boost for Chanelle McCoy Health which has an office in Loughrea.
Made in a lab,the product contains zero percent THC, the addictive psychoactive part of the cannabis plant.
