Galway Bay fm newsroom - Enterprise Ireland has confirmed plans to explore whether Tuam could serve as the Western Creative Industry Hub.

Galway TD Sean Canney says a feasability study will analyse the need - and explore the appetite for the development of creative industries in Tuam.

Funding for the study is being provided under Enterprise Ireland's Regional Enterprise Innovation Scoping Scheme.
