The historic and iconic Cong to Galway Sailing Race has been postponed due to weather conditions.
It was to take place this Saturday, but organisers say the conditions for the lake are unsuitable.
First held in 1882, it's recognised as Europe’s oldest inland sailing competition, and follows the old steamer route from Lisloughrey Pier near Cong and finishing at Corrib Village in Galway.
It's been postponed until August, with organisers saying new information about it will be released then.
