Localised flooding has been reported in some Galway areas following Storm Chandra yesterday.
Local councillor Andrew Reddington says there's dangerous flooding on the N84 coming into Headford.
While there's also flooding at Kylemore Bridge - which has been subject to issues repeatedly.
Kylemore Road Flooding Action Group says it has written to the County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland over the issue.
It comes as those worst hit by floodwaters during Storm Chandra yesterday are told to apply for emergency payments.
The cleanup from the devastation caused by Storm Chandra is underway, but for many the disruption and trauma caused is continuing.
The National Emergency Co-ordination Group is warning flooding may remain in some areas through today and into tomorrow.
Although Chandra has now passed over the country - more rain is forecast , and flooding could persist if it falls on already saturated ground.
People are advised check Local Authority websites and social media channels for information on road closures, flooding updates, and community alerts.
Meanwhile an emergency response fund is now available to those whose homes and businesses were worst hit by Chandra in counties Wicklow, Wexford and Dublin.
