More than 100 homes planned for Rahoon

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Plans are in the pipeline for a major housing development on the west side of the city.

Burkeway Homes Limited has submitted a preliminary application for 101 residential units at Letteragh Road in Rahoon.

The homes would be a mix of houses and apartments.

An Bord Pleanála will issue its 'opinion' on whether the development would be suitable for a full planning application by April.
