Funding of more than €350 thousand has been announced for community organisations in Galway City and County.
The allocations are through the Local Enhancement Programme, which supports groups to improve their facilities and purchase equipment, particularly in more disadvantaged areas.
Under the 2026 awards, there's €214 thousand for Co. Galway, and a further €142 thousand for Galway City.
It's split between almost 200 clubs, and a full list can be found on the Galway Bay FM website.
