Three Galway secondary schools have been honoured for their efforts to champion girls cycling.
The #AndSheCycles Awards celebrates creativity, commitment and impact in promoting more inclusive and sustainable travel.
Recognised for their excellent work on the night were Gort Community School, Salerno Secondary School, and Galway Educate Together Secondary School.
Their work included campaigning for improved infrastructure, a community cycling event to build confidence on the road, and and various survey and research campaigns.
