University of Galway research a positive step forward in cancer treatment

University of Galway researchers are working on a project which may help determine tailored breast cancer treatment.

The team has discovered biomakers known as MicroRNAs which can help predict disease recurrence in patients with breast cancer.

Dr Matthew Davey, Professor Michael Kerin and Dr Nicola Miller are leading the team from the University’s College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
