Works begin on first Galway city playground to have communication board for non-verbal children

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Upgrading works are beginning today on the first playground in Galway city to have a communication board installed for use by non-verbal children.

Councillor Eddie Hoare says funding was approved for the upgrading of the playground at South Park at Claddagh.

The playground will have a Pirate Ship centrepiece with amenities including slides, outdoor benches and sensory equipment.
