Works underway to restore water to homes and businesses in Gort

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Efforts are continuing to restore water to homes and businesses in Gort.

Due to the depletion of water in the reservoir, there will be an outage until approximately 8 tonight to allow levels to recover.

Galway County Council working in partnership with Irish Water say there may be further outages overnight, but every effort will be made to restore supply to all areas as soon as possible.
